CALS Facilities Master Plan
In collaboration with UW System Administration, UW–Madison and Flad Architects, CALS is taking on a facilities master planning project that will be used to create a roadmap to guide the physical development of CALS for the next twenty years. The master plan development will run through the Spring of 2023 and include assessments of existing facilities conditions and space utilization followed by planning scenarios and recommendations. The scope of this project includes CALS facilities located on the UW–Madison campus; off-campus facilities are not included.
Strategic Plan
Members from all corners of the CALS community came together during the 2012–2013 academic year to develop a strategic plan for the college, led by a committee composed of administrative leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external partners. This effort resulted in the college’s new strategic plan, to guide and advance the mission, vision, guiding principles, and strategies of the college. [read more]
Organizational Redesign
In 2017, the college began an organizational redesign process to develop a conceptual design for the college that would align resource allocation with priorities, performance, and efficiency, resulting in robust, resilient, and adaptable departments. [read more]
