CALS information sessions

Information sessions are a great opportunity for prospective first-year and transfer students to visit campus and learn more about CALS majors, opportunities, and resources. We offer both in-person and virtual sessions all year. In-person sessions also include a tour of the CALS side of campus.

CALS Ambassadors (current students) play an integral role in these events to share their student experience with prospective students and parents. We can’t wait to meet you!

Talk with a current student!

CALS ambassadors are current CALS students who are eager to share about the CALS student experience. They can answer questions about the transition to college, coursework in their major, and getting involved in student organizations and more on campus!

Teachers and educators, request a group visit

Are you interested in bringing a group of students to visit Madison to learn more about CALS? Or would you like to know if a CALS representative can visit your classroom or group?

Contact us at ambassadors@cals.wisc.edu with as many details as possible (proposed date, time, type of group, location of visit) and we will follow-up. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate every request.
