CALS New Student Welcome & Orientation

Allen Centennial Gardens
New students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences are invited to join us for our annual New Student Welcome and Orientation. The program will begin at 9am with brief remarks in either 125 Ag Hall, 1120 or 1125 Biochemistry, followed by a reception in Allen Centennial Gardens. Learn about CALS programs and resources, meet academic advisors and faculty, and mingle with peers in a picturesque CALS landmark. Refreshments will be served and receive your CALS t-shirt!
Fall Career and Internship Fair

The Career & Internship Fair is open to all enrolled students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, plus recent alumni who graduated within the past two years. Regardless of major, degree level or College, all are welcome to attend and take advantage of the opportunities presented at the Fair. Business casual attire is welcome & accepted!
Biotechnology Student-Employer Connector

Learn about what potential opportunities are available to you in the biotech/biohealth field by attending the Biotech Connector on October 6th from 4:30-7pm at the Discovery Building! Alumni, recruiters, and supervisors will be there to give you answers and provide directions on potential pathways available to you in the Biotech field. There is something for everyone to take away from this event.

Food and Agricultural Student-Employer Connector

WI State Crime Lab Site Visit

Go behind the scenes at the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory and discover how forensic science supports criminal investigations across the state. Learn how experts analyze DNA, toxicology, fingerprints, and other evidence while exploring career opportunities in forensic science, biochemistry, biology, and related STEM fields.
