    • CALS Case Competition with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources

      Monday, February 2

      8 am

      Participate in a 3-week CALS case competition focused on Wisconsin DNR’s work with farmers on nutrient management, agricultural runoff, and nonpoint source pollution. Open to all CALS undergraduates. Students work in teams (~5 hrs/week) to develop real-world recommendations and present to judges on March 13. Prizes awarded to top teams, plus lunch provided. Application open from February 2- February 17.

This welcome back social for CALS students who identify as coming from a rural or small town is a laid-back chance to grab FREE cookies and hot chocolate, meet other students with similar experiences, and connect with Rural Peer Advisors and other CALS faculty, staff, and students! There will be peer advisors, professional staff, and folks from other CALS organizations. No pressure! — just good food, great people, and community.
