Find your people
With smaller class sizes you’ll build relationships with your professors and faculty to grow your network and future opportunities for things like research projects, internships and study abroad.
Get involved with one of CALS supported student organizations where you’ll meet new people, gain leadership skills and stand out to future employers.
Make the transition to college less stressful by enrolling in the CALS QuickStart summer program. You’ll take a 1-credit online course where you explore your interests, learn about resources across campus, and have the opportunity to move to campus early.

Scholarships
CALS has an extensive scholarship program with more that $1.2 million in awards available to CALS students each year in addition to financial aid provided through UW’s Office of Student Financial Aid. One yearly application allows students to be considered for all CALS scholarships. Incoming students are considered automatically if they are admitted to CALS and have activated their NetID.
