All CALS students who submit an application will be considered for all CALS scholarships as appropriate depending on some or all of the following: academic achievement, involvement level, financial need, residency, career interests, and/or major/program of interest.
To be considered for scholarships with a financial need component, you must have a FAFSA filed using the UW Madison School Code 003895. For more information on completing the FAFSA, please review the following site: financialaid.wisc.edu/applying/
To ensure consideration of your scholarship application, it must be received by midnight of the close date in February. Distribution of all CALS awards is contingent on your acceptance to UW-Madison and enrollment in a CALS program in Fall 2019.
Recipients will begin receiving emails notifications regarding their CALS scholarship awards in mid-March. We will continue creating awards and notifying recipients through mid-August as funding and new opportunities become available.
All recipients must fulfill the thank you note requirement described in their award offer prior to receiving their funding which is directly used to offset tuition and fees.
