
Business Management for Agricultural and Life Sciences Certificate
The business management for agricultural and life sciences certificate is open to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. This certificate teaches business and management concepts that are applicable to any career field.
In this 18-credit certificate program you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of business and management concepts and skills
- Gain an understanding of economics, marketing, and communications and apply them to business management in agricultural and life science industries
- Develop business analysis, communication, and problem solving skills and learn how to integrate them into your educational and professional work
- Take courses offered in partnership with the Departments of Agriculture and Applied Economics, Life Sciences Communications, the Renk Agribusiness Institute, and the Wisconsin School of Business
- Be prepared for careers in:
- Business analysis, marketing, communications
- Managing a business, firm, research lab, or farm
- Commodities trading, sales, consulting, banking, and finance
