UW–Madison Extension is hosting a free Cover Crop and Forage Field Day at the Marshfield Agricultural Research Station designed for farmers, conservation staff, crop advisers, and agronomists to learn how cover crops can be implemented in Northern Wisconsin. Attendees will learn how winter conditions affected the alfalfa crop and options for renovating it. Light refreshments will be provided by the EPPIC farmer-led watershed group.
