Kemp Natural Resources Station is a research and teaching facility operated by CALS. Located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Kemp Station’s 231 acres are some of the last remnants of old-growth forest in the Great Lakes region and supports a diverse population of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and invertebrates. Kemp offers educational opportunities to community members in the form of lectures, workshops and field experiences related to various natural resource topics and research projects.
