Situated on over 2,000 acres of rich prairie soils in Columbia and Dane Counties, Arlington Agricultural Research Station is the flagship of the university’s Agricultural Research Station (ARS) system. The station’s dairy research program is robust, with dairy scientists leading nutritional, physiological, genetic and management studies to support the dairy industry. A wide variety of livestock-related research takes place at the station, with a focus on beef, sheep and swine.
