Internship Abroad Opportunities for CALS Students: Apply by February 24
UW-Madison International Academic Programs (IAP) offers a variety of international internship and research opportunities for undergraduate students around the globe. Attend an upcoming event to learn more!
The following full-time international internships are developed exclusively for Badger undergraduates and include a 3-credit virtual internship course. All summer 2025 participants receive a $800 automatic grant. You can apply for up to three UW Signature internships per term.

- UCR Computational Medical Physics Lab Research Intern COSTA RICA
- Qachuu Aloom Agroecology & Community Well-Being Intern GUATEMALA (Spanish required; $1000 4W grant)
- Reykjavik University Biomedical Engineering & Neurophysiology Research Intern ICELAND
- Sehgal Foundation Rural Development Intern INDIA (Housing, meals & local transport provided)
- Green Moluccas Environmental Outreach Intern INDONESIA ($1,000 IAP grant provided)
- Health By All Means Community Health Outreach Intern KENYA (at least $300 4W grant provided)
- Kidlinks Organic Farming Research Intern SOUTH AFRICA (Housing, meals & transport provided)
- Cátedra del Tajo Water Pollution Data Analysis Intern SPAIN (Spanish required; $1000 LACIS grant)
- Fundación Nueva Cultura del Agua Agricultural Water Policy Intern SPAIN (Spanish required; $500 LACIS)
- Fundación Nueva Cultura del Agua Non-profit Communications Intern SPAIN (Spanish required; $500 LACIS)
- Olmeda Orígenes Marketing & Content Creation Intern SPAIN (€300/month stipend)
